My Manziuk and Ryan mysteries are set in the city of Toronto. Okay, I guess it's kind of my mythical take on the city, because I did invent a whole baseball team for Glitter of Diamonds, not to mention newspapers, a bar, restaurants, and a whole lot of people.
But at the core, there is still the city.
We moved to the GTA from western Canada 32 years ago. And except for a brief 13-month work-related transfer to Calgary and back, we're here to stay.
I just found this amazing time-lapse sequence of thousands of photos of the city of Toronto. The photographer is Ryan Emond. And yes, this is the Toronto in my books.
